We’ve been analyzing and testing a rankings system that would best reflect what we believe to be the important metrics for measuring skill in this investment space for the better part of the last 7 years, and are happy to share our findings with you twice a year. Alternative power rankings are rankings between Managed Futures and all other U.S.-listed alternative ETFs on certain investment-related metrics, including 3-month fund flows, 3-month return, AUM, average ETF expenses and average dividend yields. The metric calculations are based on U.S.-listed ETFs Managed futures ETFs are exchange-traded funds that passively invest in a managed futures index. Investors typically buy managed futures ETFs as a diversification tool because the performance usually has a low correlation with a broad market stock index, such as the S&P 500. The 361 Managed Futures Strategy Fund seeks to generate performance by employing a suite of systematic trading models that take positions (long, short, or cash) in U.S. equity index futures contracts.
